Our Company

AENAON is a technology-driven investment research company. For the past 10 years, we have been committed to systematic alpha generation, investment research and system development. Our research methodology has been designed and developed in-house from end to end: from our proprietary Machine Learning algorithms to our automated risk management modules and our custom-built execution technology.

Our systematic strategies support a variety of portfolio management solutions and are suitable to the key investment themes of our time: non-correlation, consistency and superior risk-adjusted returns. Our investment solutions focus exclusively on the design and deployment of Grade A strategies and the absolute integrity and accurate representation of their performance. To that extent, our risk and return data and statistics are verified by Deloitte in accordance with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3000.

 aenaon is the Greek word for perpetual, eternal.

It means continuing or enduring forever, indefinite, everlasting; continuing or continued without intermission or interruption; ceaseless.

Our History

2013

Company Founding

AENAON Markets, the mother company of AENAON Alpha Models is founded in Athens, Greece as a financial consultancy and brokerage services firm.

2014

Quantitative Research

AENAON Alpha Models the investment research arm of AENAON Markets, is founded with the goal to research and develop quantitative systematic strategies and risk management modules.

2016

Systematic Strategies

AENAON Syncro Currencies, our flagship investment systematic strategy, goes live and starts trading the company’s capital after almost 5 years in development and more than 10,000 man-hours of research and production.

2017

Auditing Performance

Deloitte Cyprus becomes the external auditor for AENAON Markets, verifying our strategies’ risk and return profiles, in accordance with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3000.

2019

BarclayHedge Award

AENAON Syncro Currencies ranks #1 by Net Return by BarclayHedge in the “Currency Traders Managing Less Than $10M” category for the 2019.

Our People

Our executive team consists of seasoned professionals with decades of combined experience across both fundamental and technical principles. Our experts share more than 50 years of combined market experience across different disciplines in three different continents: Europe, Asia and America.

They have worked in some of the most prestigious investment firms in the world, ran multi-million dollar investment portfolios, held executive positions in global brokerage companies, launched successful ventures of their own and spent time advising senior stakeholders and policymakers. Their expertise spans 4 distinct areas of investment research: macroeconomic environment, technical analysis, quantitative strategies and algorithmic execution.

Tasos is an experienced multi-disciplinary business leader with successful ventures in finance, technology, e-commerce and real estate. He is the founder of AENAON Asset Management and its parent company, AENAON Markets since 2013 and has been leading its expansion ever since.

Kostas is an economist and a seasoned expert in fundamental and technical analysis, systematic trading and performance generation in the Forex, equities and commodities’ markets.

Apostolos is an investment analyst with 30+ years of expertise in valuing and managing equities, indices, commodities and exchange rates.
